One out of every eight new cars sold in Europe is an electric vehicle, but the growth is slow.

 

In February, sales of battery-electric vehicles made up 12% of total sales, which increased by 10%. However, electric cars continue to have low sales numbers in America, despite the attention they receive in the media. In the previous year, they represented just 7.6 percent of the market. However, Europe had a different outcome with electric vehicles making up 12 percent of total car sales in February, showing a 9 percent increase in deliveries. That sounds really impressive.
