New car registrations in the EU increased in February, however, the growth of electric-vehicle sales was hindered by a decline in Germany. In February, there was a 10% increase in new car registrations compared to the previous year, totaling 883,608 units. This growth was mainly due to consumers in France and Italy, according to the ACEA. Sales of fully-electric vehicles increased by 9% in the most recent month, totaling 106,000 units.
